Conservatory Digital Library

Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory during its more than 100 years of existence (founded in 1921) has cumulated a rare collection of books and music literature (the library owns 200 000 books and a huge archive of music scores, including Armenian composers' works). The project aims to digitalize the best part of it and to share it with partnering musical institutions in the world, thus promoting an international cooperation and knowledge exchange.

The project will also enable children in regions to access a huge virtual library that will increase the perspectives of their growth. The access to the digital library will be also given to the Conservatory’s Gyumri Branch, music colleges and other musical institutions.

In 2021 the Foundation has donated special equipment to start the digitalizing process.
